Admission to films is granted according to age limits.

Universal Audience
The film is suitable for persons of all age groups (universal audience).

Not recommended by the age of 7
The film is suitable for a person who has reached at least 7 years of age.


Not recommended by the age of 12
The age restriction is applied to films with certain elements of language and actions that may not be suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Not recommended by the age of 16
The age restriction applied by the film theatre to films with certain insignificant elements of language and actions that may not be suitable for persons under 16 years of age.

Forbidden for children under the age of 16.
The film theater enforces age restrictions on films that contain explicit language, horror and violence, nudity, as well as scenes involving drug use and other content that is not suitable for individuals under the age of 16.


Forbidden for children under the age of 18.
The film is restricted and not suitable for individuals under the age of 18.

Viewers who have not reached the specified age will not be admitted to the film screening. Film theater employees have the right to request a personal identification document, refuse ticket sales, and deny entry to individuals who do not meet the age restriction for viewing the film, even if accompanied by an adult.

This classifier of films of Apollo Kino is based on the Republic of Latvia Cabinet Regulations Regarding the Classifications of Films.

The purpose of the classification of films is to protect children from harmful content of films and to inform parents or persons who accompany them about the harmful content of the film.
